Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Thursday morning will honor U.S. Military Ranger veterans who served in World Conflict II with a Congressional Gold Medal ceremony.
Sens. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Tammy Duckworth (D-Ailing.), each veterans, co-sponsored a bill to honor the veterans in 2021, and it was signed into regulation by former President Biden in 2022.
The occasion is predicted to start at 11 a.m. EDT.
