FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WFLA) – A person and little one had been rescued from the ocean after going overboard on a Disney Cruise Line voyage, passengers reported on social media.
The Disney Dream ship was sailing from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale on Sunday when the kid fell into the water for an unknown cause, in response to witnesses who watched the rescue.
Fellow passengers mentioned a person they assumed to be her father jumped into the water after her, as first reported by The Street.
“This man jumped in after her and helped her keep afloat for a minimum of 20 minutes whereas the rescue staff pulled off a rescue I’ll always remember,” one passenger wrote on TikTok, in a submit together with footage of a rescue boat approaching the two passengers treading water within the ocean.

Another video, taken after the rescue boat was safely again on the ship, confirmed a lady cradling what gave the impression to be a younger little one.

Disney didn’t disclose how the kid fell or whether or not she was injured. Onlookers — and people commenting on the movies — had been simply relieved she was in a position to return to the ship.
