President Trump is departing Washington on Friday for a weekend journey to Scotland as furor over the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to grip the political world.
The Division of Justice (DOJ) on Friday is ready to interview longtime Epstein affiliate and confederate Ghislaine Maxwell for a second day. Deputy Lawyer Common Todd Blanche interviewed Maxwell for roughly 5 hours Thursday and mentioned the DOJ “will share extra details about what we realized on the applicable time.”
Maxwell, who’s serving a 20-year jail sentence in Florida following a conviction on sex-trafficking prices, has signaled a willingless to talk with the administration as her authorized staff appeals her conviction to the Supreme Courtroom. The DOJ has contested her attraction.
