FIFA probing Pachuca’s Cabral after Rüdiger racism allegation

FIFA stated on Tuesday it has opened disciplinary proceedings towards Pachuca participant Gustavo Cabral following an incident involving Real Madrid‘s Antonio Rüdiger throughout their Membership World Cup match on Sunday, which prompted the activation of the anti-discrimination protocol.

“Following an evaluation of the match stories, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has opened proceedings towards CF Pachuca participant Gustavo Cabral in relation to the incident involving him and Actual Madrid’s Antonio Rüdiger in the course of the FIFA Membership World Cup sport performed in Charlotte on June 22,” FIFA instructed Reuters.
