Tesla has opened the doorways to its first diner Supercharger station in Los Angeles.
CEO Elon Musk first teased the idea of constructing a drive-in themed charging station in 2018. On Monday, that imaginative and prescient was lastly realized. Tesla describes the two-story restaurant, constructed of a metal exterior impressed by the Cybertruck, as retro-futuristic. It options 80 charging stalls and two 66-foot megascreens taking part in a rotation of quick movies, feature-length films and Tesla movies.
The diner operates 24/7 serving basic American consolation meals, equivalent to burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and milkshakes, to each electrical car homeowners charging their vehicles and most people.
