Dr. Natasha Schatzman Receives Vertical Flight Society (VFS) Award

In Might 2025, Dr. Natasha Schatzman, aerospace engineer within the Aeromechanics Workplace at NASA Ames Analysis Middle, acquired the inaugural Alex M. Stoll Award from the Vertical Flight Society (VFS).  This award honors an expert within the subject of vertical flight who “demonstrates an distinctive dedication to advancing not solely the mission of their group however makes extraordinary contributions to enhancing the well-being and happiness of their colleagues.”  Dr. Schatzman started her profession at Ames in 2008 as a pupil intern whereas concurrently finishing her undergraduate research on the Georgia Institute of Expertise (Georgia Tech).  She stayed at Georgia Tech by means of graduate college and completed her Ph.D. dissertation in 2018 within the Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Division.  Presently, Dr. Schatzman is specializing in assessments of rotorcraft efficiency and aeroacoustics by means of experimentation and modeling at Ames Analysis Middle.  The Alex M.
