Reigning WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson will miss her third consecutive sport within the concussion protocol when her Las Vegas Aces tackle the Lynx on Tuesday evening in Minnesota, the Aces introduced Monday.
Wilson has been out since she exited in the third quarter of Wednesday’s game towards the Sparks after she was struck within the head by Los Angeles ahead Dearica Hamby. Wilson was placed in the concussion protocol Friday after being evaluated by a physician.
The Aces misplaced that sport in Los Angeles and break up the 2 video games they’ve performed with out Wilson since.
In Wilson’s absence, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young and Jewell Loyd have taken the brunt of the offensive load, every averaging over 16 factors previously three video games.
Wilson leads the staff in almost each statistical class, together with factors (20.9), rebounds (9.6), assists (4.0) and blocks (2.6).
Because the Aces, who’ve misplaced three of 4, navigate a shaky 5-5 begin to the season, they face a Minnesota staff that simply suffered its first loss to the Seattle Storm.
