Singer, songwriter, and now producer Ángela Aguilar continues to carve her personal path in música mexicana because the youngest of the Aguilar dynasty. In an interview with Billboard, the 21-year-old star spoke candidly about producing her personal music for the very first time and launching her producer period with Nadie Se Va Como Llegó, her academic field album launched Could 28.
“It made me actually appreciative of my father and all the pieces he’s achieved for me,” Aguilar says, talking of her legendary dad Pepe Aguilar, who had produced the her music previous to her new LP. “Have you ever heard of when somebody pushes you into the pool so that you learn to swim? That’s what my dad did. He actually mentioned, ‘I’ve to concentrate on my album, I’ve a bunch of issues to do, I don’t have time, why don’t you begin searching for songs?’ And I used to be like, okay.”
The brand new album features a tune with Marc Anthony, the one collaboration on the 12-track set. Aguilar shares the “trustworthy” model of how that collab happened.
“We have been at a celebration, and once I say get together, my husband [Christian Nodal] and I don’t have buddies so it was simply Nadia [Ferreira], Marc, me and my husband, and we have been simply having enjoyable and ingesting and displaying one another’s tasks,” she says. “Two weeks later, I acquired a message from tío Marc and it mentioned, ‘Comadrita, is it okay if I carry it down two tones?’ I had not solely despatched him the association, however the lyrics, all the pieces.
