Angela Aguilar Talks Producing New Album & Immigration Disaster

Singer, songwriter, and now producer Ángela Aguilar continues to carve her personal path in música mexicana because the youngest of the Aguilar dynasty. In an interview with Billboard, the 21-year-old star spoke candidly about producing her personal music for the very first time and launching her producer period with Nadie Se Va Como Llegó, her academic field album launched Could 28.

“It made me actually appreciative of my father and all the pieces he’s achieved for me,” Aguilar says, talking of her legendary dad Pepe Aguilar, who had produced the her music previous to her new LP. “Have you ever heard of when somebody pushes you into the pool so that you learn to swim? That’s what my dad did.
