Andy Byron is stepping down.
The Astronomer CEO resigned from his place after two individuals believed to be him and one other member of his firm’s employees had been concerned in a viral moment at a current Coldplay live performance that led to allegations he was having an affair.
“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Administrators has accepted,” the corporate wrote in a July 19 statement to E! Information, including that the previous CEO has failed to satisfy the corporate’s requirements of conduct. “The Board will start a seek for our subsequent Chief Govt as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to function interim CEO.”
In any case, hypothesis that the clip—which reveals a person and a lady hiding from the digicam after they had been featured holding one another on the venue’s jumbotron—was proof of an alleged dishonest scandal between him and his fellow Astronomer worker ran rampant on social media.
Three days after the July 16 live performance in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Astronomer launched one other assertion on behalf of the corporate asserting that its board of administrators had launched “a proper investigation into this matter” and would have “further particulars to share very shortly.”
