BAMAKO, Mali — Extremists have killed dozens of troopers in an assault on a navy base in Mali, civil society and navy sources stated Tuesday, within the instruction militant violence in West Africa’s restive Sahel area.
The assault on Sunday on the bottom in Boulkessi, close to the border with Burkina Faso, killed at the least 60 troopers and wounded 40 extra, a civil society activist within the space instructed The Related Press.
