The explosion occurred in Yolo County, northwest of Sacramento … and in response to Esparto Hearth Safety District, the blaze continues to be burning and evacuations are in place as of Wednesday morning.
The district was unable to inform TMZ if any accidents or fatalities had been reported.
Esparto Hearth Safety District Chief Curtis Lawrence instructed reporters Tuesday evening the hearth erupted in a single warehouse, however rapidly overtook a number of business buildings — and grew into an 80-acre inferno.
The reason for the hearth has not been revealed as of Wednesday morning.
