Alt-Pop Darlings FLEECE Unveil Shimmering, Emotional New Single “How Far Would You Go” From Upcoming TORNADO LP (Out October 1st)
Montreal-based band FLEECE return with “How Far Would You Go,” the gala single from their forthcoming album TORNADO (October 1st). Dreamy, groovy, and glowing with life, the monitor pulses with the frenzy of recent love and the fun of emotional discovery. Launched alongside the official TORNADO album announcement, it captures a playful pressure between carefree pleasure and inside questioning – an emotional cocktail that feels as weightless because it does grounded.
Produced by Gus Van Go (Metric, The Seashores, Arkells) at Boiler Room Studios, “How Far Would You Go” is a vibrant burst of psychedelic pop anchored by lyrical vulnerability and tight, polished manufacturing.
“We wrote this music two summers in the past once I wasn’t positive if I needed to be touring and doing the entire band factor anymore,” shares Matthew Ryan Rogers (vocals, keys, bass). “Musically although, the music is kind of the other – it’s obtained spark and it’s simply pure enjoyable. I actually love the distinction between the lyrics and music on this one. For me, that is the closest we’ve come to writing a pop music – the lyrics are trustworthy, and the manufacturing is tight.”
Since forming within the mid-2010s, FLEECE has turn out to be identified for emotionally wealthy songwriting, genre-fluid preparations, and magnetic stay reveals rooted in chosen household and inventive belief. Now made up of Matthew Ryan Rogers, Megan Ennenberg (vocals, guitar), Jameson Daniel (guitar), and Ethan Soil (drums), the band is writing from a spot of reflection and realness. TORNADO guarantees to be their most open-hearted and dynamic but and “How Far Would You Go” is just the start.
