Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse is illustrated by Eisner Award–nominated artist Troy Little, coloured by Nick Filardi, and written by Alex Paknadel. The duvet artwork, which matches the primary situation of the comics, was created by Carles Dalmau.
Identical to the sport, the comedian books have a delightfully macabre humorousness and terrific artwork to match a narrative that touches upon a number of concepts seen within the supply materials.

“In a land pervaded by cruelty and evil, essentially the most harmless amongst us–young Lamb–was chosen to turn into a noble sacrifice. Their dying could be the magical ceremony that may without end seal the darkest of the Previous Gods out of our realm and usher in a brand new age of bounty. So Lamb died, however then they made a deal of their very own.
