Google loses enchantment over app retailer overhaul in Epic Video games case

The ninth U.S. Circuit Court docket of Appeals rejected Google’s argument that the trial decide made authorized errors within the antitrust case that unfairly favored Epic Video games.

Epic Video games first filed its lawsuit in 2020 and was capable of persuade a jury in 2023 that Google illegally stifled competitors. The trial decide ordered Google last October to open its app retailer to rivals and provides Android customers extra alternative relating to downloading apps.
