OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever stated he’ll assume the CEO function at Protected Superintelligence, the artificial intelligence startup he launched final yr.
Sutskever’s announcement on Thursday comes after Meta poached Daniel Gross, a longtime entrepreneur and AI investor who had been CEO of Protected Superintelligence.
In a post on X, Sutskever stated Gross’ time on the firm has been “winding down,” and that his final day was June 29. Protected Superintelligence co-founder Daniel Levy will now function president, and the corporate’s technical workforce will proceed to report back to Sutskever, he stated.
