Pacers’ arrival for NBA Finals in OKC delayed by climate

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Indiana Pacers‘ arrival in Oklahoma Metropolis for the NBA Finals has been delayed by climate.

Forecasters issued a twister warning, flood watch and extreme thunderstorm look ahead to Oklahoma Metropolis and far of the encircling areas Tuesday afternoon, all whereas the Pacers’ constitution flight was within the air.

The flight was diverted to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and refueled, and the workforce was planning to reach in Oklahoma Metropolis later Tuesday night. Oklahoma Metropolis’s airport arrivals and departures have been interrupted by heavy rain and wind.

The Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder are scheduled to seem at NBA Finals media day Wednesday at Paycom Middle, which is able to host Recreation 1 of the title sequence Thursday night time.
