JunoCam, the seen mild imager aboard NASA’s Juno spacecraft, captured this view of Jupiter’s northern excessive latitudes in the course of the spacecraft’s 69th flyby of the enormous planet on Jan. 28, 2025. Jupiter’s belts and zones stand out on this enhanced colour rendition, together with the turbulence alongside their edges attributable to winds going in numerous instructions.
The unique JunoCam knowledge used to supply this view was taken from an altitude of about 36,000 miles (58,000 kilometers) above Jupiter’s cloud tops.
