Swag, the brand new album from Justin Bieber, tops this week’s fan-voted music ballot.
Music followers voted in a ballot revealed Friday (July 11) on Billboard, selecting Bieber’s 21-track shock summer time drop as their favourite new music launch of the previous week.
With a number of new tunes hitting streaming companies simply in time for the weekend, Beliebers swooped in to indicate their assist for Swag, choosing the pop star’s studio return over new music from BLACKPINK, TWICE, Tyla, Clipse, Deftones and extra. Swag introduced in 40% of the vote.
Swag is the follow-up to Bieber’s final full-length launch, his 2021 No. 1 album Justice, which rose to the highest of the Billboard 200 chart for 2 weeks.
The brand new set from Bieber arrived with little warning, a day after teaser billboards first popped up in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Reykjavík — one among which featured a picture of the singer and his household, spouse Hailey and son Jack, and others that previewed the album title and its songs.
Among the many lovers of Bieber’s gridiron is his former supervisor, Scooter Braun, whose Instagram Story-shared opinion is that the physique of labor is “essentially the most authentically Justin Bieber album up to now. The brand new releases trailing behind Swag on this week’s ballot embrace BLACKPINK’s “Soar,” with 37% of the vote — adopted by TWICE’s THIS IS FOR, with 16% of the vote, and Tyla’s “Is It,” nearing 2% of the vote.
