BERLIN — A person was fatally shot close to Germany’s border with the Czech Republic after a federal police patrol stopped his automobile for a verify and he fired at officers, police mentioned Sunday.
The capturing occurred on a street between Schirnding and Münchenreuth, simply inside Germany, on Saturday afternoon.
Bavarian police mentioned the driving force left his automobile and fired on the officers, who returned fireplace and fatally wounded him. He died on the scene.
