Montreal-born, Gabriola Island, BC-based composer, vocalist, and meditation information Mark Fenster returns with “Rising Embers,” a glowing, introspective new observe from his just-released album, Serenity Periods, Vol. 1 – a deeply private assortment of sound journeys and guided meditations designed to revive calm, connection, and readability for the listeners.
Pushed by multicultural instrumentation, light orchestral textures, and a way of religious motion, “Rising Embers” conjures the quiet great thing about a campfire’s last glow – every ember lifting into the evening as an emblem of belief, launch, and transformation. The piece invitations the listener to comply with a path of rising emotion and tender realization, repeated but evolving, touchdown in an area of gratitude and peace.
“Sitting by a glowing campfire, feeling the heat, absorbing the calm, watching tiny embers elevate and fall to the sky, as if letting go, finishing the expertise and flowing again to the supply. That is how I really feel once I notice I’ve made the leap, I’m okay, and all is properly now that I’ve believed and trusted and seen the wonder behind the blast,” says Fenster.
Serenity Periods, Vol. 1 displays a journey over a long time – a musical expression of Fenster’s ongoing religious exploration that started within the Eighties. It contains 4 sound journeys and three guided meditations, all designed to hold the listener by means of emotional terrain towards stillness, concord, and renewal.
The Serenity Periods sound journeys are cinematic, emotional, and culturally textured. The meditations are softly spoken reflections designed to assist listeners return to their centre – instruments for anybody looking for grounding, transformation, and a way of “dwelling” inside.
