Metaplanet, the Tokyo-listed lodge agency recognized for its bitcoin
acquisition technique, has acquired 1,111 bitcoin for $117 million.
The agency purchased bitcoin at a mean value of about $105681 per BTC. The crypto markets fell throughout the weekend after the U.S. bombed a number of nuclear websites in Iran, pushing bitcoin to lows of $98,000.
Bitcoin has recovered from the weekend fall and is now buying and selling over $101,000 on the time of writing.
The government affairs acquisition pushes Metaplanet’s complete BTC stash to 11,111 bitcoin, price over $1.1 billion, with a mean shopping for value of $95,7000.
