Metaplanet (3350) stated it purchased 780 extra bitcoin (BTC), bringing its complete holdings to 17,132 BTC valued about $2 billion at present costs.
The Tokyo-based firm paid a mean 17.5 million yen ($118,176) per coin, according to a Monday disclosure.
Metaplanet makes use of a metric, known as BTC Yield, to trace shareholder worth in relation to dilution. The BTC Yield for July 1-July 28 is 22.5%, Metaplanet stated.
