Sha’Carri Richardson is going through authorized hassle.
The Olympic track and field star was arrested on the Seattle Tacoma Worldwide Airport on July 27, per a police report obtained by The Athletic, after an alleged incident along with her boyfriend Christian Coleman on the TSA safety checkpoint.
Based on the Port of Seattle Police Division, per the report, the Olympic gold medalist was concerned in a heated argument along with her boyfriend of two years when the arresting officer alleged that Richardson, 25, shoved Coleman, 29, a number of instances whereas he was trying to stroll away. She then appeared to throw a pair of headphones at him.
After police considered the incident on safety footage, in accordance with the report, they deemed her actions possible trigger for arrest on fourth-degree home violence assault expenses.
