“Bourbon Road. Vacationers come to New Orleans—and that is nice—however they complain that the town smells like stale beer and vomit. It would not, however Bourbon does. For me, the scent of the French Quarter is nice olive and jasmine, espresso, and a faint scent of bleach from the early-morning cleansing of the bars. It is a magical place; do not bitter your expertise of it by strolling down that shithole road at evening, particularly on holidays. There are two locations price visiting on Bourbon, Fritzel’s and Galatoire’s.”
