Within the latest episode of Gear Factor, Pepper Keenan (Corrosion of Conformity, Down) performs his favourite riffs.

“It despatched me on a tangent which was the Ramones and something down-picking as a dumb punk rock child,” Keenan says of that childhood inspiration at round 14 years previous.
“I by no means even had a guitar. My buddy who performed guitar was a bit of older than me and he obtained killed in a motorbike accident. So, me and my buddy broke into his home and stole his guitar as a result of his dad and mom did not like him taking part in it anyway,” he recollects with amusing.
As for the fingerpicking, that is one thing he picked up from Pink Floyd‘s David Gilmour. He goes on to display the approach within the Down track “Jail” as nicely.
