Shannon Sharpe Settles Rape Lawsuit, Accuser’s Lawyer Says

The legal professional representing the girl accusing Shannon Sharpe of rape stated Friday either side have agreed to a settlement within the civil case.

Tony Buzbee introduced in a press release on his Instagram web page that “after protracted and respectful negotiations,” Sharpe and his accuser “reached a mutually agreed upon decision.”

No phrase on the specifics of the couple’s pact … however Buzbee added, “All issues have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice.”
