New York-based photographer Eric Kogan took this image on a household day of furnishings and thrift-store looking in Shelton, Connecticut, a few 90-minute drive from their Brooklyn residence. En route, they stopped off in New Haven for a pizza. “Town is known for its top-notch pizza eating places,” Kogan says. “And the one we selected, Frank Pepe’s, is rumoured to have invented the first-ever pizza field!” After lunch they continued on to Shelton, pulling into the big parking zone of a furnishings pattern retailer somewhat earlier than 4pm.
“It was so tucked away that we stored questioning if we had been on track,” Kogan says. “The moon got here into view as we made our solution to the doorway.
